🎬 Jeruzalem (2025)-Best Thriller Horror🎬

Jeruzalem (2025), by Doron and Yoav Paz, is a scary found-footage horror flick that takes viewers on a wild ride through the historic city of Jerusalem. With its deep history and religious importance, Jerusalem serves as a spooky setting for this supernatural tale, where it’s said that Hell’s gates swing open, causing all sorts of mayhem and bringing forth terrifying creatures. The movie mixes historical elements with horror to create a gripping story that keeps audiences tense from beginning to end.

The plot centers around two American tourists, Sarah (Yaara Pelzig) and Rachel (Neta Riskin), who head to Jerusalem for a vacation, excited to check out the historical landmarks and dive into the local culture. Things take a dark twist when they encounter Kevin (Yon Tumarkin), a young anthropologist who warns them about an old prophecy regarding one of Hell's gates in Jerusalem. At first, they’re doubtful and brush off his warning to keep enjoying their trip, but then strange things start happening.

The film does a fantastic job of building suspense through its found-footage style, which adds a sense of realism and urgency to what’s going down. The shaky camera work pulls the audience into the characters' shoes, making the terrifying experiences feel much more immediate and personal. As the nightmarish events unfold, the feeling of claustrophobia and panic grows stronger, especially when the friends realize that the supernatural dangers they face are very real. The found-footage approach heightens the horror by placing viewers right in the middle of the chaos, amplifying the urgency and fear throughout the film.
